What's the difference and what the similarities with Wikinews ?
There are both design and technical differences and similarities. As for design, Wikisphere in mainly intended to bloggers or online newspapers who have already their sites and want to enlarge their audience or to improve the accessibility of their contents through a wiki focused on metadata and structured contents.
On the technical side, Wikisphere is an enhanced (with regard of its specific purposes) Mediawiki installation, allowing a better management of set of pages belonging to specific publishers, and it includes a front-end site based on a modern technology (a single-page application written in Vue.js/Quasar framework, combined with Node.js on the back-end) comparable to the interface of Google news.
What's the difference between WikiSphere and Google News ?
Google News is basically a crawler website, which scrapes the web for noticeable news pages or news fit to the users, and as such it intrinsically violates the copyright of intellectual right owners, that being only mitigated by subsequent agreements (not actually modifying such ground) between copyright owners and the Google's platform.
On the other side Wikisphere only contains contents (articles or articles' reviews) deliberately inserted in the platform by copyright owners, either directly through the wiki website (at the address https://wikisphere/wiki) or through a plugin installable on their Wordpress control panel which automatically synchronizes the posts/articles published on Wordpress with their clones on Wikisphere. (placed within a specific directory of the publisher)
