Follow the instructions [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ContactManager here] to setup [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cron crontab] or execute the following jobs manually. Configure the job options where needed by clicking the edit symbol within each button. After the mailbox creation, "Get folders" must be executed before "Get messages", since the latter controls the retrieval of messages for each folder.
